The metal pry tool is the "Golden Tool" for opening the casing of the iPod Classic. If done right, there should be little to no scratching on the iPod casing. Over time, we have found this method to be much more effective than that demonstrated in our video, where the fragile plastic pry tools are used. Because the front and back of the iPod Classic are metal, it's very tricky to open this device, but this tool makes it possible!
